All Satellite Symposia will be advertised in the Final Programme of EWMA 2008. Rates vary with the size of the room, with the time of the symposium and with the exclusiveness of the symposium. The price for Type A Satellite Symposia is higher because there are few parallel sessions, they are in large rooms and most are placed early in the day.

Symposia approval

All symposia must be approved by the Scientific Committee of EWMA 2008 and be chaired or co-chaired by a council member from one of the organising societies or someone appointed by EWMA.

Symposia speakers All speakers have to register for the conference. Registration, accommodation and travelling have to be covered by the company for any invited speaker or chairperson from the organisations. If a speaker is used by several companies' costs will be split evenly.

The companies must pay even though the speaker is also an invited speaker at the Scientific Conference and the costs would otherwise have been covered by the conference budget.

Satellite Workshop

EUR 10,000 In a satellite workshop, you can give the participants a hands-on experience with your product. There will be room for 30-60 persons. The rate is for one slot of typically 60 minutes. 1 roll-up space is included.

Email Announcement

EUR 500 You can use this option to announce your satellite symposia and satellite workshops. The Announcements will be sent out a few days prior the conference. Please contact the conference secretariat for further information.

Deadlines

To book symposia, please forward the following information along with the preferred type of symposium to the Conference Secretariat:

Title of symposium (to the conference secretariat): 15 February 2008
Name of symposium speaker: 1 March 2008

NB - the booking of symposia is subject to availability

Meeting/storage rooms

VIP room
Near the exhibition, a number of VIP rooms are available for rent. These can accommodate from 30 - 70 persons. Please contact the Conference Secretariat for available rooms and prices.

Meeting rooms
A number of rooms will be available for business meetings. Typical meeting room size: 10-20 persons. Please contact the Conference Secretariat for available rooms and prices.
