CONFERENCE LANGUAGE

EWMA 2008 is a bilingual conference - conference languages are English and Portuguese. All presentations and all conference material will be in both English and Portuguese, except for a few workshops and symposia.

Please collect headset receivers for simultaneous -translation at the Headset Desks located in the -registration area and in front of Auditorium 1.

BADGE
All participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors are kindly asked to wear the name badge in the -conference area.

LUNCH AND COFFEE
Lunch and coffee is served in the exhibition hall.

CME

Credits for Continuing Medical Education (CME) will be awarded by the European Union of Medical Specialists. The number of credits available for participation in the EWMA 2008 conference will be announced later.

When you register, ask for CME credits and you will receive 3 cards.
One for each conference day.

To obtain CME credits, please follow this -procedure:
At the end of each day (from 16.00) sign the card, show your badge and hand in the card to the staff in the registration area.

Certificate will be sent after the conference.

INTERNET
An Internet café is located in the exhibition. During the exhibition opening hours you have free access to the Internet.

The Conference Evening
Thursday 15 May, 20.00
The Conference Evening will combine Portuguese hospitality, cuisine and entertainment. The Event will be a seated dinner held at the Convento do Beato, the famous and beautiful 15th century monastery in the centre of Lisbon.

Shuttle busses will run between the congress centre, the city centre, and Convento do Beato.

The monastery is situated close to the main train stations Santa Apolónia and Oriente, and bus no. 28 also stops directly at the monastery. Information regarding the time schedules for the shuttle busses can be found in the registration area.
